What is the difference between a slider and a burger?

A slider is a much smaller (usually 3- or 4-bite) burger. It can also contain other types of meat, such as sliced deli meats.

How many sliders per person?

I usually recommend 1-2 sliders per person as an appetizer or 3 sliders per person as a meal.

Do you cover sliders when baking?

Yes, cover these sliders for the majority of the baking time to keep them from drying out. Uncover in the last 5 minutes or so to crisp up the tops.

How do I keep my bottom slider from getting soggy?

You can toast the buns before adding any toppings to help seal out moisture, but the deli turkey should do a pretty good job of sealing the bottom bun off.

Can you make these ahead of time?

These Turkey Sliderscan be assembled up to 4 hours before baking. Store them covered in the fridge until you’re ready to bake them.
